A bright white to warm off-white background with soft, flowing waves of light grey veining and subtle cloud-like movements. The veining is broad and gentle rather than linear, creating a calm, airy sense of movement across the slab surface. In a polished finish, the stone gains depth and light reflection, enhancing its watercolor-style character, while honed or lightly textured finishes deliver a smooth, matte elegance.
Argento Mare is a calcite marble quarried in Greece, valued for its refined appearance and balanced tonal palette. While it offers good structural performance for a marble, it retains the natural characteristics typical of calcitic stones, including a smooth feel and excellent workability. Its relatively low porosity and dense structure make it suitable for a wide range of interior applications, combining visual softness with timeless architectural appeal.

Compressive Strength: ~70–140 MPa / ≈ 100–110 MPa Suitable for flooring, stairs, and wall cladding applications under normal architectural loads.
≈ 30–60 cm Typical performance range for dense Greek calcite marbles; exact values depend on thickness and finish.
≈ 2680–2750 kg/m³ Indicates a dense, compact stone structure suitable for interior and selected exterior uses.
≈ 0.2–0.6% Low absorption, contributing to good resistance against moisture when properly sealed.
≈ 0.004–0.007 mm/m·°C Compatible with standard movement joint detailing for interior and exterior installations.
≈ 10–18 MPa Provides adequate resistance to bending stresses in slabs and tiles when correctly supported.
